OUR STORY

   Our podcasting journey began when we were hired to record an interview with Kenn Kaufman, wildlife and bird expert, for a podcast called Twenty Thousand Hertz. The episode "Birdsong," released in April 2019, contained portions recorded in Studio A right here at the Ohio Recording Co. Shortly after its release, Twenty Thousand Hertz won big at the 2019 Webbie Awards for Best Original Music / Sound Design in the Podcasts & Digital Audio category.

   This thrilling, one-of-a-kind opportunity inspired us to launch our very own podcast aimed at helping artists learn about the music business. These are conversations happening on a daily basis at our studio and now we are able to share them as a resource for artists in all different stages of their career.

   We launched the Songwriter Sanctuary podcast in March 2019, featuring a conversational format and a range of fascinating guests — including a Grammy winner, authors, artists and more within the first 10 episodes. Enthusiastic to expand on this newfound vision, we're investing in Studio B's transformation into a permanent podcasting meeting place for relevant, engaging talks about how to make the music business work for songwriters and musicians.
